These crispy tofu tacos are perfect if you're looking for a super tasty, quick dinner idea.
2 tbsp plain flour
1/2 sachet Capsicana Mexican Chipotle Fajita Seasoning
Capsicana Mini Tortilla Wraps
225g tofu, chopped into cubes
1 avocado, sliced
Salad leaves
Fresh herbs, chopped
Dairy free yoghurt/soured cream
Capsicana Easy Going Salsa
1. Mix 2 tbsp flour and half a sachet of Capsicana Mexican Chipotle Fajita Seasoning Mix together in a shallow dish.
2. Using your hands toss the tofu in seasoning mix until evenly coated.
3. Cook the tofu either in a pan or an air fryer. For air frying: toss lightly in 1 tbsp cooking oil, then transfer into the basket of your air fryer and cook at 200C for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Give the tofu a good shake half way through. For pan frying: heat 1 tbsp cooking oil in a hot frying pan. Fry the tofu for 5-10 minutes turning occasionally so all sides cook evenly gold and crispy.
4. Serve your crispy tofu in warmed mini tortilla wraps, topped with salsa, soured cream, salad leaves, avocado and fresh herbs.
